Joseph christian school... today was day 1.and students from kindergarten through 12th grade filled the halls,full of excitment to reunite with familiar faces again...you could tell the wait to return to the classroom after 5 months was greatly anticipated...caleb carlson junior sch: "like i said, probably just seeing all the people, seing all my friends again.

Joe christian are having to adjust to the new normal at what school is like every single day...caleb carlson junior sjc: "yeah, it's kinda weird at first cause you have to wear them in the hallways.

But, if you're in a small class and everyone is six feet apart, then you can take them off.

It's no that much of a pain.

I don't know.

They have taken a lot of precautions.

Six feet apart, hand sanitizers, sanitizing stuff, masks and all that.

I do feel very safe with all they told us so."students and teachers do have the option to go online for schooling, superintendent danny maggart wanting to give the opportunity for everyone to feel safe from in school or at home...but for upperclassmen, coming back to school was an easy choice.gracie: "honestly i somewhat enjoyed online learning just because you got to work at your own pace.

I did miss though being involved in school stuff and being with people.

So, i kind of thought about it, but i knew since it was my senior year, i wanted to be with my class and be apart of all the senior stuff.

As much as i liked staying home, i also really wanted to come back.

I thought about it but it was like not really a decision i would have made."

Students and families have the option to continue their education remotely at any time during the semester,in fact the super-intendent told me that 5 to 6 percent of families started school at home this year.as all classes are designed for in-person or virtual for the entire semester.teachers also have the option to go remote at anytime as well.reporting in studio, danielle soxy, kq2 news>>> with all of the budget cuts that schools are
