Tonight the garden fort wayne held its grand opening.hoping its new art studio and community center will help bring in local artists and creators from around the county.fox 55's chris mullooly is live in fort wayne outside the garden.chris... what makes this building so unique?

Hunter... you'll probably recognize the drive thru area... and style...because this used to be a bank.hard to tell anymore... especially from the inside.owners opening it up and bringing a fresh perspective to the area.for a one of a kind project.

Formed out of an old bank says chad van meterwe saw an opportunity when it became aviailble like yeah lets do this now to fill the needhe says talks with friends and family to do something with the bank kept growing... until they had their vision100p this is the right place to do something we hope its the right timethe space will be open for everyone says les van meter.its meant to be collaboration space and showcase musicians sulptors to artists who want to paint skys the limitcollaborations with students at nearby concordia high school or purdue fort wayne and indiana tech.they dont want it to feel high end..

An environment they created intentionallybe more accessible to younger crowd we dont want them to feel nervuos we want them to have the guts to actually put someting on the wall its what draws artists like lewis inthis is a place where its more accessible to artists who want to have gallery spaceso artists can feel at home... tools in hand.?nats?and create what they want.we went to the beach and i looked down and took a photograph?nats?it was a perfect picture i love it so much reporting live ... ?????????
