Involved shooting...the highway patrol says 35- year-old shiloh smith died of a self-inflicted gun shot wound.

It happened last thursday when a gentry county deputy tried to pull smith over for a traffic stop.

Troopers say smith led the deputy on a chase opening fire during the pursuit.

The deputy returned fire before smith crashed on a rural road in dekalb county.
