High School Boys Soccer: Concordia, Garrett pick up home wins

Concordia and Garrett both picked home victories on Tuesday night.

To the pitch we go... 2a's third ranked concordia hosting new haven on their brand new turf field for the first time...14th minute... no score yet... cadets with a good chance... elijah macke free behind the defense... but oscar woods with the diving save..

Keeps this scoreless... but it wouldn't stay that way long... 17th minute now... ball ricochets around in the box..

He chips it home to the top right corner..

Concordia goes up one...it'd stay that way till late in the half..

38th minute... macke dribbles himself free once again..

Not missing this time..

He scores low with the left... one of two on the night for him...cadets take a 2-0 lead to half..

They win their first game on the turf 5-0 the final..

The railroaders looking to keep their undefeated record in tact taking on woodlan..and if you like scoring this was the game for you... 17th minute..

Just over a minute later... nate presswood tracks down the through ball.... he's able to beat the keeper with the tricky right footed shot..

Garrett goes up one...woodlan quick to answer two minutes later... xavier heltzel's shot gets denied..

That ties things at two a piece...but just 32 seconds later... garrett strikes again... it's kenan kennedy with his second of the game... gives the railroaders a 3-2 lead at half..

And they keep their unbeaten streak alive..
