### a city press conference was held today to address the recent gun violence among teenagers here in lexington.

Since april 21st, six teenagers have died from gun violence.

The shooting happened around 4pm on sunday, august 23rd.

The mayor and chief say there's more the entire community can do the help with this.

Beginning friday, august 28th, the fayette mall will enforce its youth escort policy during weekend hours.

The policy states that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian.
