University of Minnesota Rochester students are returning to campus

The same page and feeling safe.

University of minnesota rochester students are returning to campus.

Needless to say, there are considerable changes this semester.

I'm here at the university of minnesota rochester.

In just a couple weeks students will be moving into dorms here on campus.

Sam titus is beginning her second year at umr. this year she will also be in the role of orientation welcome leader and will help students adjust to changes.

She says before students can move into the dorms they will have to do a 2 week quarantine.

"means you're limiting your interactions with people outside of who you've been with like immediate family.

Meaning don't be going out all the time.

Dont be doing things that aren't necessitiies right now because we really are just trying to keep everyone safe.

Titus says that 50 percent of freshmen will be moving into the dorms while the rest students will have to observe a 9pm curfew for the first two weeks.
