The county conservation district farms it to gain a better understanding of local soil health and how to educate area farmers on soil health management techniques.
The minnesota pollution control agency commisisoner and the assistant commisioner of the minnesota department of agriculture toured the soil health farm to kick off the release of two new reports warning of the impact of climate change.
The goal of the "state water plan ?
"* wate and climate" is to spotlight actions the state can take to protect minnesota's waters from climate change.

"(not on track to meet its gol of reducing nitrogen and phosphorous concentration s in water by 2025.
Commissioner laura bishop warns that the state is becoming warmer and wetter over the last century ?*- and the long term effects of this climate change could be devastating.
