Mayor randall walker says the upgrade is a brand new, state-of -the-art water treatment plant on tucker road.

Perry developed a water treatment plant that can distribute 2 million gallons of water per day.

Currently, falcione says the east side of perry doesn't have water because the area is still developing.

But they want to be prepared for growth.

"they know what's coming in the future" mayor randall walker says the facility has been in the works for 5 years and construction started two years ago.

He says the mission is to get water to more people.

Walker says--because its a new facility--- the city will be flushing the water lines throughout the week during overnight hours.
