The State Election Commission said it had issued guidelines to enforce protocols like social distancing, wearing of face masks and sanitisation in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"There might have been isolated incidents of violation of social distancing, but by and large, the protocols were followed," said election commission secretary Shyam Singh Rajpurohit.
Boards of elections are looking to recruit poll workers on Sept. 1, which is National Poll Worker Recruitment Day.
