Crops in the region were also damaged after fields were submerged under floods.
Residential streets and roads were hit by the deluge as locals put sandbags in front of their homes.
Footage shows residents struggling to travel through the deluge in Kampong Cham province, Pursat province and Siem Reap province on Friday morning (October 9).
The heavy downpour has battered region since Monday (October 5) and still without signs of improvement today (October 9) as the rain continues.
The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology said the tropical storm has already left the country, but the downpours expected to continue until the weekend.
