Police say a driver is dead after a head-on collision with a semi tractor-trailer Monday morning in the area southeast of the Fort Wayne airport.

A man is dead after a head on crash with a semi carrying 30-thousand pounds of axles.
Allen county deputies responded to the crash around 5-20 this morning, in the 11-thousand, 9-hundred block of bluffton road.
Deputies say the driver of the car was driving northbound on bluffton when for an unknown reason crossed into the center of the line, hitting the semi.
The driver was the only occupant of the car.
Deputies say he was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the hospital.
The semi driver wasn't inured.
