The wheels on the bright pink citi link bus are officially rolling!marketing manager kylee wagner says not only is it nice to look at but its spreading a powerful message as well."so that's our goal, it's to get women all over fort wayne notice this bright pink bus and think if they've gotten their mammogram this year or if they're noticing signs of breast cancer and things like that."wagner partnered up with sky high graphics along with farmers and merchants bank to bring her vision to life..?and hopes it sparks conversations."maybe they'll call a relative, cousin or sister in a different town and say hey i saw this awesome bright pink bus today and it made me think are you checking yourself and are you getting your mammogram?"allen county health commissioner dr matthew sutter says conversations like those are key.sutter says the earlier breast cancer is detected, the better."it's important to get early detections because breast cancer is very treatable like a number of other cancers.
The earlier you catch it, the more treatable it is.
If we catch it late after it spreads then the prognosis is very poor.
If we catch it early and it's contained to the breast, there are excellent options and there is a good chance of a cure.in fort wayne, i'm brianna dahlquist fox 55 news.
