Cameron you have one of these stories from one local that may be playing in the nfl pretty soon.

What can you tell us?

That is right brian, many may remember brady breeze from his rose bowl heroics that made him the defensive mvp in the 2020 game.

But tonight we are talking about his stat breakdown or his impact in the sports world.

Tonight, we are talking about his efforts to help our community.

Breeze is a former south medford panther that helped elevate the oregon ducks to a rose bowl title last season.

And though he is headed to the nfl draft this year, he still comes back to visit home.

In fact, he was driving down highway 99 in phoenix the day before the almeda fire destroyed large parts of phoenix and talent.

"it was pretty emotional for me because all you could see was chimnies and car frames and just stuff.

And you know how many people care about those areas and how many people lost their businesses and stuff and lost their houses.

And it was like, jeeze you know?

This is the place where i grew up, but seeing it like this was something i never could have imagined."

Well even in the midst of his busy schedule preparing for the nfl draft, breeze came back home again after the fire to volunteer at orchard hill elemnatry.

He wanted to help in any way he could, even if it was just lending his ear to those who needed to talk.

"it was refreshing for me to let them know that i am here for them.

I don't know the people seemed, they were obviously upset but they were in good spirits.

They were trying to stay positive.

They were saying stuff like, "here look i still have my high school yearbook," and things like that.

People were finding ways to stay positive.

So, that kind of gave me some hope."

We are going to be featuring more of that story, along with brady's favorite memories at south medford high schoo, the university of oregon, and his journey towards the nfl draft.

That is when college football gamenight returns on november 7th at 8 oclock.

Even in the busiest of times, a local hero came home to help the recovery.
