Rochester Public Schools released their return to learn plan.
RPS Phase II: Return to Learn plan released
Six.
I'm katie lange.
And i'm george mallet.
Parents and students at rochester public schools might be wondering about their future.
But the district says ?
"* for now ?
"* there won't b changes.
Most elementary students and lincoln k?
"*8 students will stick to the hybrid learning model and the majority of middle and high schoolers will participate in distance learning five days a week.
How are people reacting?
Kimt news 3's isabella basco is finding out for us.
Katie and george... the district acknowledges this is "disappointing news" to some people... but based on the information provided to them... rps feels it's the best option.
The district says ?
"* the county and district daa are trending in the wrong direction ?
"* so it's the best decision to stick to their current learning model.
Today ?
"* i talked to an rps graduate and a parent after the announcement was released.
"it's obvious that high?
"* schoolers go out more and are working and are having more contact with people, the best bet is to keep them isolated as much as possible versus elementary kids who don't really go out and do much."
<"but i'm not sure that we've given it a good try yet, i worry about students' mental health, i worry about students that rely on adults they see every day, to help them out with whatever."
Rochester public schools will keep offering drive?
"* through and walk?
"*up meals for students.
All meals will be served free of charge.
Live in thanks isabella.
