Gary liberatore was at the gathering organized today in utica.

"nat of horn" "we are entering what may be the most impertant elections of our lifetimes....."

Women from all over the utica area marched...albeit a short march from oneida square to munson williams proctor arts institute saturday morning... (jill farnum-us, indivisible mohawk valley) .

None .

None tc : 49:47 "were doing this today because people need to be energized to vote tremember s not a spectator sport have to participate in the our voices matter, our voices matter."

(councilwoman celeste friend, utica common council, 3rd ward) tc : 51:09 "and you know its 100 years into suffrage and women have not really come into their full power as equal, full citizens in this democracy so i think its really important that we really emphasize the abilityfor.

Women are going to turn out in huge numbers."

(gary liberatore, news channel 2) tc : 02:58 "organizersere saythey s presidential election.

Esay bacs came out to vote and tyay with rlies like thione allacrosy theyre hoping optimallybring t" (jill farnum-us, indivisible mohawk valley) tc : 45:41 women vote.

This is been four years coming.

On november 9, 2016 we said we got to do something about this, we were complacent."

And this year... tc : 46:36 "we were voting in numbers too big to ignore."

(freddie hamilton, utica community activist) tc : 58:37 "at this point people should have received absentee ballots if they requested them, if they still havent received their absentee ballots they need to inquire about them."

Some here are concerned that for whatever reason...that absentee ballots may not be counted...because signatures don't match, it gets to the board of elections too late...or even the potential of the supreme court ruling that certain absentees don't count in the country.

So they want to urge people to vote in person, either during early voting from october 24th through november 1st...or on election day itself.

(councilwoman celeste friend, utica common council, 3rd ward) tc : 54:26 "and that is why if you can do so safely, i really encourage everybody to vote in person."

There were a few men n the crowd...we actually found a retired u.s. army brigadere general...now teaching at hamilton college.

(brigadiere general ty seidule, u.s army ret.) tc : 06:57 "you know in the army you dont get to do these kinds of things and for the right reasons we wanna make sure that theres a separation between politics in the army but now im a private citizen and i got to exercise first amendment rights and i love it."

Tc : 51:30 "i think its really important that everybody here that womens voices are loud and powerful and that we have the ability to turn an election."
