The musical follows a florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on humans.
The production features popular songs, elaborate sets, and of course, the plant, "audrey two" cast members say they are looking forward to sharing the story with live audiences.
"there's nothing like live theate and being able, even doing like virtual productions, we feed off of the audience, as much as the audience enjoys our performance, so we really need that laughter and that energy from them" "i had thought about, this play, sort of represents the pandemic, you have a plant that people don't really pay attention to and then it's too late to control it and so in a way, it's like a story for the pandemic" "i'm director of pontotoc city schools choir and we're having to go all virtual for awhile to be able to do any sort of concert so to be able to do something like this is really a dream come true, it's really filled my cup" "little shop of horrors" runs tonight, and saturday evening.
