Allen County coroner identifies man found dead in street on Werling Drive

The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified the man who was found shot to death in the middle of the street late Thursday night.

News we now know the name of the man shot and killed in the middle of werling street late thursday night.

The allen county coroner's office says the victim is 34-year-old elgin markeith davis from fort wayne.

Davis is the 41st homicide of the year.

Fort wayne police are urging the community to come together to find whoever is responsible for davis' death.
