Early voting has begun across new york state, and locally, many were eager to cast their ballots.
Lines werelt several voting locations.
Newschannel 2's brent kearney spoke to people in line at some of these locations.
"i've seen lines on tv, but i've never seen them in new york."
Across the state polling places are reporting record in person voter turnout.
Including here in oneida county .

Outside, voters waiting for over two hours to make sure their voice is heard.
Not one i spokeo concerned about voti inperson.

So what do you do while you're waiting, some are on their phones others read a book.

Even if things dont go my way i can always be comforted in knowing that i at least spoke for myself."
