Patriot parades held in Chico and Redding to drop off ballots
A patriot parade took place outside the old k-mart in chico today.

Amy "scott i have been out here all morning.
I spoke to the organizers of the event and they said they are really just trying to encourage people to get out there and vote."
Roxanne eldridge "so the plan is is that we are encouraging people to turn in their ballots.
This is for everybody, dems, independents, come as you are, republicans, everyone is welcome here."
James gallagher: "yeah certainly there's a lot of people here who support the president and that's great, everyone has the right in this country to support the candidate, the proposition of their choice."
Danny peters: "i want to go up and shake their hand, and say hey i am happy, i can't imagine you are happy with the way the government is run right now, what is going on in our state, county and local governments."
Cynthia pendery: "you can see how friendly everyone is, welcoming, inviting."
There was a small ceremony to start the day..
((nats) amy 2 part: "after the little ceremony that's when people started off on the parade route."
"the parade came here to downtown chico people had the option to hand off their ballots or drop them off in the secure ballot dropbox."
((nats)) supporters explained why they were there.
"a lot of us do love america so if we could just come together and show some patriotism that is a great thing for us."
'patriotism towards the american flag, to our president, and to our city and county and we are tired of being pushed around like san francisco and l.a.
We don't want them deciding what goes on for us."
"i think it's especially needed right now to bring people together and talk about the greatness of this country.
Then obviously to support your candidates.
The need for everyone to vote in this election."
Amy: "and after the parade people came back here to the old k-mart parking lot for a tailgate.

The whole rally stayed peaceful.
### up in redding: another patriotic parade was held.
More than a dozen people showed up.
Their cars showing support for president trump.
The parade started at the civic auditorium.
People rolled up to ballot drop off box at redding city hall to drop off their ballots.
One person tells action news now: he believes this is no* a form of electioneering because they're just dropping of their ballots at the box.
We're out here waving our flags, we're away from every other instance, we're going around and it's going to a drop box.
So there's nobody else around.
You can pull in right behind us and drop it off, your ballot whatever you want.
Congressman la- malfa also made an appearance at the rally.
The organizer of today's rally says: the purpose of today's parade was to encourage people to go out and vote and not wait till the last minute.
