Tippecanoe County Board of Elections hosts 'drive thru' mail-in ballot drop-off
Tippecanoe county board of elections is working to make early voting a little easier.
Today, poll workers came out for a ballot drop-off '"drive- thru" at edgelea elementary school.
The ballots are taken straight to the election's office to be sorted by precinct.
Poll workers representing both political parties are overseeing the sorting process together.
That's what today's poll- workers found most interesting after volunteering.
These high school students say it's been a great learning experience.
B: just working together to create the election, it just shows that the country's not as divided as what some people would say.
I: i really learned the the ins and outs of not just the process of voting but, you know, how many different versions of security and different ways that we can have people vote and make sure that they're safe.
Ballot counting will start on election day next tuesday.
