Year to date, Apple registers a 57.8% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is American Express, trading down 3.2%.
American Express is lower by about 21.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Boeing, trading down 2.8%, and Amgen, trading down 0.4% on the day.
