The road work just east of town started in august "it's on a needs-based system and these were on our first year of our 3-year plan" mcdonald says the work needs to be done before it gets to cold.
He also says rain could slow the work down.
"work with asphalt work, we have some temperature restrictions."
Mcdonald says there has been some basic changes because of the coronavirus... road crews have limited the number of people riding in one vehicle and when they are not able to socail distance they are wearing masks.
He says some crews have had to quarantine because of coronavirus cases.
"3 that i can recall we have had minor delays due to quarantine."
Say he hopes to have the road work here in amory done by thanksgiving.
