Library taking measures to prevent virus from spreading
Vernon Library still open despite coronavirus
Of vernon's library is still open despite the coronavirus .
But the library's director says they operating differently.
Wtva'a wayne hereford joins us live outside the library where he talked to the director about how they are managing right now.
Amanda bravo says the mary wallace cobb library here remains open but under strict coronavirus guideline.
She gave me an overview of what some of those guidelines are.

We have just sort of had to readjust things."
Amanda bravo says right now no one except she and another worker are allowed to actually come inside the library here.
"we're working towards that we are preparing we are working towards that."
So now people are checking and returning books through this door leading out into a hallway.
You are allowed to bring your computer inside and use the library's wifi service.
"we're still providing most of the services that we did before , except that we don't allow people to use our actual desktop computers.
We provide free wifi if they bring their own computers their own device .
They can bring it after hours we keep it on."
She says that people can still come here and search for a job.
"we're not really able to do anything but give a job list and applications.
We can fax them into our career center in fayette.
They usually come here twice a month.
But since this all started we had to shut the commuters down they need those.
We just sort of work the best way we can ."
Bravo says the library also works with kids who homeschool by choosing books for them and providing online links to their card catalog on their facebook page.
She says they even quarantine books for two weeks once they have been returned.
