With information we gathered from chico p-d, we know overall crime is trending downward, but aggravated assaults are the highest they've been in two years.
The quarter 3 crime report in 2019 showed property crimes in chico ended with an upward trend.
But this year -- "robbery down, the thefts are going down, vehicle thefts are going down, arson is going down."
And the data shows this is the chico crime portal that shows where the most crimes have happened, and it's broken down by category.

"those are all in my perspective attributed to our citizens being at home, and not away from there personal property."

We're not really getting those emails, as much as we used to every weekend."
