"here's a live look at the midday."
Welcome back to newswatch 12 midday and meet our r r r r r te week this week, gypsy!
This soulful-eyed girl is mellow, affectionate and ready to be a great companion for her person.
She has done well in play groups with young and older dogs alike and even knows some commands.
She will happily and gently take treats as you ask her to sit!
She is 7 years young, so don't let her age discourage you you just know she deserves a safe, loving home just like any dog of any age, and she has loads of love left to share!
Someone thinks so highly of this pretty brindle girl that she is designated as a ffc, a fabulous featured canine, and her adoption fee has been generously pre-paid.
If you think she's perfect for you, please contact the shelter to make an appointment to meet this wonderful dog.
Don't keep her waiting!
And the jackson county animal shelter is back in full swing again after the firestorm.
Everyone at the shelter wants to give a big thanks to our generous rogue valley for all the support during our evacuation and operations at the expo.
We fortunately did not have our kennels and building suffer serious damage, but our play yards and outside areas are in the process of repair.
As we go about the work necessary, our dedicated volunteers are continuing to take care of the animals and help with adoptions.
So make your appointment and come see our furkids it will brighten your day and theirs, too.
And as we like to say, "find love at the shelter!"
And don't forget we have resumed our low-cost "drive-in shot clinics" on the 3rd saturdays of each month.
Come by and save some money, meet new friends socially-distanced and find load of smiles.
