Kentucky is rich in history with incredible legend and lore surrounding it... and just in time for halloween, abc 36 is proud to present: "haunted, historic kentucky."

And tomorrow -- you'll be able to learn more about numerous artifacts and state treasures that are reportedly "haunted".

Nat "a conjured chest of drawers with a body count, a haunted civil war coronet with unearthly powers."

'haunted, historic kentucky' will feature rarely-seen artifacts from the vaults of the kentucky historical society..

Doug sot: "we've got an incredible team of historians and story tellers and we've lined them up and we found all these amazing artifacts on the museum floor or that have never been seen buried in our archives for decades."

The half hour special is hosted by doug and his wife lyssa..

Doug sot: "it's so much fun.

Lyssa loves the paranormal, she loves the haunted..

I'm a little more a 'see it to believe it' kinda guy so we thought the combination was good."

As for the items included in the special?

Doug sot: "we've got 5 different items that have a pretty good backstory so we're spending 4-5 minutes on those.

But then we also have a big table we're calling the mccob managerie and there's a lot of little one off items that maybe have a line or two to share."

From the jimmie doll -- to abraham lincoln's pocketwatch..

Doug sot: "one of our curators who helped work on it for the steven spielburg film has a very very creepy story to tell about it.

We've never heard it before, it's never been broadcast before.

So you gotta check it out."
