"* we're learning about some breaking news this afternoon.
A body found in the cedar river may be that of a missing rochester man.
The austin police department says it was contacted just before 1 this afternoon by volunteers searching the river near marcusen park for david janson, who went missing october 23rd after being seen around 2 in the morning getting gas at the kwik trip near 20th street sw and broadway avenue.
On october 27th, rochester police reported janson had been spotted in austin but they had been unable to contact him.
Volunteer searchers told austin police they had found what appeared to be a human body just below the surface of the water behind marcusen park baseball stadium.
Austin police and fire went to the scene and recovered a body from the river that matched janson's description.
Police say documents belonging to janson were also found on the body.
The investigation is on?
"*going however there is no indication of foul play at this time.
The body is being we've talked so much about this in recent weeks, early voting numbers are off the chart nationwide and locally.
Voters are choosing to fill out ballots at home and either mail them in or drop them off to avoid spreading the coronavirus.
So it should come as no surprise that some polling places had very little traffic today.
At the olmsted county election office this morning voters were able to cast a ballot without standing in line.
The line at the olmsted county government center was manageable too.
Still the clerk telling kimt news 3 throughout the day, traffic here has been steady.
Are you worried about your safety at the polls?
Voting during a pandemic can raise a lot of concerns.
Kimt news 3's jeremy wall is live outside the olmsted county elections office with more..
Jeremy.
Katie i'm joined by olmsted county director of property records and licensing, mark krupski.
Mr. krupski good afternoon.
How safe have the polls been so far today?
I'm sure viewers have experienced this and i know i have but howcome law enforcement isn't at many polls?
There are still hours left to vote, what do you recommend people do if their voting at night?
Thanks, jeremy.

The agency says anyone isolating with the virus, or in quarantine because they may have been exposed to it, can still vote.
Once you arrive at a polling location, let a poll worker know your situation.
Poll workers assisting voters with symptoms should be wearing personal protective equipment.

People who have difficulties voting, or need any information can call the number on your screen or head to the if you're heading to the polls today in minnesota, make sure you bring a mask.

"*p and democratic parties are laying out what they hope is in store for the future of the state's politics.
Kimt new three's jessica bringe joins us now with what changes could be coming to the house and senate following election day..
Jessica.
Election i spoke with d?
"* f?*l chair ken martin and g?

"* chair jennifer carnahan as voters take to the polls today..
All 201 seats are up for grabs..
Right now republicans control the senate by three seats and the d?
"*f?
"*l has 1 more seats in the house.
Carnahan says she's confident that a republican majority will be maintained in the minnesota state senate and that only nine seats need to be flipped back to the majority in the state house.
However ?
"* martin says he believes the republican controlled senate has done more harm than good.
We are very encouraged by the strength of the candidates on the ballot, how hard they've been working and the strategic targeting we've been doing with direct voter contact to make sure we're turning out our voters on election day.
We've seen a republican majority that's really been intransigent and obstinate.
They've been more part of the problem than part of the solution.
They put no ideas on the table, they put no proposals on the table to actually address the needs and election the next legislature will focus on key issues such as the state's responding to the pandemic..
The budget deficit and redistricting.
Thanks jessica.
