Rome Rescue Mission seeks food donations

The Rome Rescue Mission is collecting food items to distribute to those in need this holiday season.

The rome rescue mission is asking for donations for thanksgiving.

They need 1,000 turkeys.

They also need, stuffing, cranberry sauce, white potatoes, sweet potatoes and more.

The executive director says they're feeding more families this year, than they have in the past.

Miller says: "12;13;25 "last year we gave out 620 turkeys, and this year we're anticipating 1,000 or more there's just a lot more people out there that we serve 12;13;36 12;14;51 reaching outts time of the year and havingever" 12;15;08 donations can bedropped sunday from 9-2.
