Rodgers' resignation comes 5 days after his initial arrest.
We know h-p-d arrested him in the early morning hours of october 30-th for driving under the influence of alcohol around 1 a-m - officers responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of monroe road and pulaski pike.
Rogers was off-duty at the time - and driving his personal vehicle.
We know rogers was charged with d-u-i - but the traffic ticket does not list a blood alcohol level at the time of his arrest.
At this point - we don't know rogers' specific role in the department.
