Maryville advances to Class 3 State championship

The maryville spoofhound volleyball team made the final four in 2009... making this weekend's trip just the second time in program history... the spoofhounds finished fourth in 09..

And this time around, they're hoping to bring back a state title... down in cape girardeu... at southeast missouri state..

The spoofhounds taking on hermann in the class 3 semifinals this morning... early game for both teams..

9 am start...=== coming out of the gate in the first set..

Hermann going on mini-runs throughout including a 6-0 run..

And taking the set 25-15...=== in the second set..

Spoofhounds warmed up..

Taking the set 19-11...=== maryville with some momentum now..

Taking it to the third set... and squeaks out a 25-22 win in the third..=== so to the fourth with a chance to play for a state title..
