Alex Trebek , Dead at 80.
The beloved “Jeopardy!” host died after battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Trebek hosted “Jeopardy!” , since 1984.
A representative for the show confirmed the news to TMZ.

Jeopardy is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends, “Jeopardy!” rep, via TMZ.
Trebek announced his diagnosis in March 2019.
He immediately started chemo but still continued his hosting duties.
Alex wasn't just the best ever at what he did.
He was also a lovely and deep decent man, and I'm grateful for every minute I got to spend with him, Ken Jennings, via TMZ.
The show confirmed that they will air episodes with Trebek hosting through December 25th.
