And they've recognized the need has gone up for more individuals and families seeking food assistance because of the pandemic.

President and ceo michelle book feels that this problem of food insecurity will not go away soon ?

"* even if there is a readily available vaccine and the economy turns "by looking at prior recessions and the relationship between food insecurity and recessions, we know that this won't even peak until 2024, and that food insecurity levels won't decline until about 2027."
