98-year-old Veteran, George Garrett, awarded Quilt of Valor in Mount Sterling.

Today's is verterans day.... and it mount sterling.... one special veteran was honored.

98-year-old george garrett..... a veteran involved in the d-day invasion... was given the quilt of valor award.

Quilt of valor's mission is to quote: "cover veterans touched by war with comfort and healing."

Garrett served in the 19-40s... and is a world war two vet from mt.

Sterling.

He stormed the beach of normandy... even brought back sand from the beach.

And get this.... at 98.... garrett still works and drives himself around.
