D’iberville’s Justin Walley wins Mr. Football for Class 6A

Two-way players in high school football are hardly uncommon, but then again most of those two-way players aren’t Justin Walley.

- and walley is more than - deserving... leading his- warriors to their first region - title, since 20-16... - behind a 9-0 regular season...- the first perfect record, in th- history of the district.- heading into the first round of- the playoffs... walley has 12-- hundred all-purpose yards...- more than 700 of those coming o- the ground... where he averaged- more than 10 yards per- carry... to go along with 12- touchdowns.

- he had another 300 yards and a- score, as a receiver... as- well as a pick six, on defense.- the minnesota commit is actuall- a defensive back- by trade... recording two - interceptions, overall... three- passes defensed... and a forced- fumble.

- and then get this... the three-- star recruit had six blocked- kicks, on special teams... four- field goals or p-a-t's... and - two - punts.- to cap it all off... walley is- one of five coast players named- to- the mississippi-alabama all-sta- game roster... and somehow... - this award still caught him by- surprise.

I really didn't thin i was in the- coversation for it to be honest- so just getting it is just a- blessing.
