Rockefeller Center tree cut early Thursday morning in Oneonta

Sun and clouds on friday, wtha s 11-ton norway spruce.... standing at least 75- feet tall.... will be cut down from a residence in oneonta.

Donated by daddy al's general store..... it will arrive in manhattan by flatbed on saturday to be prepped for its illuminating, global debut.

It's the second time in five years that rockefeller center has chosen its famed christmas tree in oneonta.

Due to the pandemic this year, there will be no public access to the tree's arrival at 30 rock.

Details on how to visit the tree will be announced in the coming days.
