Butte county health reps now say the county is hitting a third surge in coronavirus cases..

That also puts the county in danger of more restrictions health reps are warning of moving the country back to a red tier of restrictions, if current trends continue.### and a similar story in shasta county.

Health reps there are seeing a rise in hospitalizations.

Reps with mercy medical center say they are still equipped to handle the case load.

Shasta regional medical center reps says i-c-u beds are only at 3-percent capacity.### happening today... a local man is set to appear in court, facing charges of dumping hazardous materials.

Prosecutors accuse chico businessman richard parks of unlawfully transporting and disposing of hazardous today's court proceeding... to set a date for a preliminary hearing.

### california is nearing a million positive cases of the coronavirus..

California has reported over 996 thousand cases in that state..

Trailing just behind texas for the state with the most confirmed cases in the u.s... over 18 thousand people have died from the virus in california... the numbers are in and california voters have approved proposition 19.

The measure allows homeowners, 55 and older, the disabled and wildfire victims - to transfer*low property tax rate* if they move to a new home.

51% of voters said yes to this measure.
