People thronged flower market in UP's Kanpur as Diwali festivities began in the country on November 13.
Flower prices rose in the market due to high demand.
Market was tightly packed with shoppers with no consideration to social distancing norms amid pandemic.
Speaking to ANI, a customer said, "Prices of rose flower was earlier around Rs 100-200 and now it has been sold at Rs 250-300 in the market." A shopkeeper said, "Price of flowers almost doubled in the market."
