11172020 Long term care

White new restrictions for long-term care facilities national guard to help as we mentioned---the governor has issued new guidlines for long-term care facilities.

Right now---almost 40 of the states faciities have at least 15 active cases.

The kentucky department for public health is mobilizing what it calls "strike teams" to hard-hit facilities..

The state says the national guard..will also help out.

New guidance has been given to facilities --including asking residents only to leave when medically necessary.

If a resident does leave---especially for the holiday--they will be asked to quarantine before returning.
