Denver7, Community First Foundation and FirstBank are excited to partner again to present Colorado Gives Day on Tuesday, Dec.
8, 2020.
Colorado Gives Day, a statewide movement to celebrate and increase philanthropy through online giving, has raised $257 million for Colorado nonprofits since 2010.
This year there are more than 2,900 participating nonprofits and they are all registered with the IRS and in good standing with the State of Colorado.
“Colorado Gives Day is a really important day for Colorado nonprofits, especially this year.
For most nonprofits, COVID has greatly strained resources because they are first responders during times of need or because social distancing and going virtual has impacted their ability to fundraise.” said Kelly Dunkin, president and CEO of Community First Foundation.
“Colorado Gives Day is the day to support them and show them that we are committed to keeping Colorado the great place it is.” The holidays can get really busy and the COVID-19 pandemic adds another layer of complexity to our lives.
That makes scheduling donations even more appealing.
Here’s how you can schedule your Colorado Gives Day donation: · Visit ColoradoGivesDay.org, · Select all your favorite nonprofits · During checkout, choose the schedule for Colorado Gives Day option.
Scheduled donations will not be charged until Colorado Gives Day (Tuesday, Dec.
8), so it’s like putting your donation on autopay.
