You're taking a live look at sparkman high school this morning - where classrooms will remain empty today.
Because of coronavirus - the high school and 9th grade school will be remote until after thanksgiving break!
That decision impacts more than 23-hundred students!

The madison county health officer says they have been seeing an increase in the number of cases among school aged children.
And right now - temporarily transitioning to remote learning is just one way school officials are trying to keep students safe.
Madison county schools said the decision was made after assessing a number of variables within the schools.
In a statement - the district said it felt a temporary transition to remote learning was the best way to keep the more 2-thousand students at the schools safe.
According to the districts coronavirus dashboard - there are more than 2-hundred and 80 students quarantined and 32 positive cases between the high school and ninth grade campus.
15 employees are in quarantine and 8 have tested positive.
Athletics at the school will still continue as regularly scheduled and students will be able to pick up meals at the high school between 11 and 11:30 each day.
Students are expected to return to in-person learning november 30th.
