California Public Health tightens public mask order
Restrictions-- tightening up across california as new cases spike... people have to wear a mask or face covering when they are outside of the home..
With exceptions including if you're alone in a car or with others in the same household, while working alone in an office, while outdoors and six feet from others... and if you're eating or drinking and physically distanced.
Action news now spoke with community members to see how they feel about this new mandate.
"when you go on a hike or take a walk do you put a mask on?
Umm, not when i'm going on a hike i guess but i'm not really around other people when i do that.
It depends on where that hike is, if it's at monkey face and it's on a friday while the sunsets and you know there's not going to be a lot of people i guess not.
If there is quite a few people there i guess i would wear one and i think that it would be necessary.
I mean it's different when we are in rural areas, there is some common scene that goes in to it."
So far there's no word on how local law enforcement plans on enforcing the mask mandate.
