People who target homes with deliveries -- and then steal the packages.

Legal analyst jeff hosford says to protect yourself, you might consider having your packages delivered to work if your employer allows it.

But there are other headoff the thieves.

Another option that everbody has today is with inventive things like ring doorbells.

You can put one of those of up that will allow you to at least videotape the person taking the package off the porch and then possibly contacting police with the video of that person.

The number one recommendation is consider where you're at when the package will arrive and try to have it shipped to tha location.

After that consider measures that will help protect your family and those things include security systems and video systems.
