L3: abc 36 news white neighborhood summit focuses on covid-19 lexington mayor linda gorton hosted the summit this morning.... joined by lexington-fayette county public health commissioner doctor kraig humbaugh and gorton's chief of staff... tyler scott.

Questions varied to how the virus is spread... to how it is affecting housing in the city.

Right now, the city is seeing the highest level of community spread since the pandemic.... with november becoming a record-breaking month for new cases.

Dr. humbaugh says the city averaging around 200 new cases a day.

He says he believes part of the rapid spread is due to people letting their guard down.
