Henderson Family Diner Facing Layoffs with New Restrictions
How the changes are effecting businesses.
There not too many mom and pop restaurants around and wee just trying to keep our doors open right now?
With indoor seating closed once again restaurant owners are facing having to be creative just to stay afloat -- "we were at fifty percent capacity and now having to do carry out, door to door curbside, stuff like that' it's going to be hard."
"but with restaurants like east gate here not really having a lot of outdoor dining opportunities, waitresses and other staff members will have to be furloughed and they are incredibly worried about their future once again.
"unfortunately, we have about fifteen people who are going to have to go back to the unemployment line again."gov.
Andy beshear says forty million dollar state assistance fund will be spread out amount restaurants and bars-- with each qualifying business receiving ten thousand.
And employees question whether or not they will get relief.
"the first shutdown -- they were a lot clearer in the beginning of what protections were in place and the extra unemployment and so far he hasn't mentioned any of that yet and so i've lost a little bit of sleep wondering how that is going to go this time."
Other restrictions beshear set include private gatherings being limited to two families and attendance at indoor venues capped at twenty five per room.
As of now these latest set of restrictions are set to last until december 13th.
