After neither candidate received atleast 50 percent of the vote earlier this off, the race heads to a runoff in january.
During the rally, senator perdue told the crowd he hopes to keep the legacy of his cousin, former governor, sonny perdue, alive by working in the senate to represent georgia.
I know in georgia before 2002, georgia was nothing but democrats.
Sonny perdue was elected the first republican governor in 135 years, and since then georgia has become the best c1 3 b13 state in the country to do business in.

Kelly loeffler also spoke at the rally and expressed her support for perdue, and the republican party.
Loeffler says she wants republicans to remain in control of the senate majority.
