There are 4.9 million dollars set aside for small businesses severly impacted by the pandemic.

Carmela: so how has the pandemic been on your business specifically?

Jim schroer: "oh it's hard to pay bills and hard to make budget.

Our milk prices in march and april plummeted."

This money is a lifeline for jim after everything that's happened in 2020 jim schroer: "it kind of blew my socks off to tell you the truth."

The program's already handed out two thirds of money to butte county businesses in need.

Carmela karcher: "for businesses that haven't received the funds should see them by the middle of december.
