Elaine eacholes lives in tupelo.
She said faith food pantry has been a blessing to her and her family for years.
Eacholes said it means a lot she and other folks will have food for thanksgiving.
Sot: "we really appreciate it and everybody should appreciate it that they take time out to be able to give us the things, you know that we can not get."
Volunteers gave out boxes filled with dessert, meat and pantry goods.
Director of the pantry, jim long, said usually they give a few boxes to people on wednesdays who missed the giveaways during the weekend.
Long said volunteers weren't expecting such a large turnout.
But they weren't going to pass up the opportunity to bless people.
Sot: "everybody who works here is a volunteer and we do it because we want to help people.
So we don't mind helping people."
