Thanksgiving day&a time where families would normally gather and celebrate with one another.

After nearly nine months of socially distancing&are people still gathering for the holiday?

Jose aguirre/staying home: "just spend a little time with the family&small family."

Manuel huerta/traveling home: "we are going down to the bay to go meet with some family.

With this whole coronavirus thing, it's kind of dangerous but we haven't seen them in over a year and it's time for thanksgiving.

You know, we are not going to do anything rowdy and stuff so&we are thinking it's better than staying here."

More importantly&are people worried about the spreading the virus?

Jose aguirre: "as long as we take precaution and i think we'll be alright.

Manuel huerta: "it's pretty dangerous but as long as you take precautions, it shouldn't be too much of a problem."

Carmela karcher: "the holidays aren't over and if you're hoping on planning an event for christmas this year, you can use this map to help show you what risk you have of getting coronavirus per county.

All you have to do is click on the size of the event you'd like to have and select which county you'll be in across the whole country."

For example&if you hosted an event of 15 people in tehama county&you'll have a 32 percent risk of getting coronavirus.

But if you hosted an event of 50 people&you'll have a 73 percent chance of contracting the virus.

So&when planning your next holiday get together& remember to wear a mask& distance&and gather in smaller groups outdoors.
