The parking lot at lowe's was packed full today.
Across the street at rural king was the same story.
Traffic made it's way up and down sixth street.
But not all that traffic was heading to big box stores.
In downtown vincennes the parking spots were full.
Many folks decided to visit the mom and pop shops the day before small business saturday.
That's a good sign for those small businesses.
2020 has been hard on many locally owned shops.
Many have taken advantage of funding to help offset the impact of covid-19.
Now as friday moves to saturday...small businesses are hoping to keep their bottom line in the black.

These are the businesses that we go to to support our little league teams or softball teams, to help support our non-profits.
