Making financial ends meet
Veteran.
The coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating financial impact on nearly everyone.
Arguably at the top of that list are those who served our nation, military veterans.
Kimt news 3's jeremy wall is live with that story.
George, i spoke with ross parker a veteran of the vietnam conflict, whose one of the veterans being impacted financially by covid?
"*19.
He hasn't had any source of income for around nine months.
Parker serves at the vfw post here in ornocco and earns income through the pancake breakfasts they have here each month.
Due to covid?
"*19 there haven't been any pancake breakfasts here cutting off one of parker's primary we have not been in business since march.
First march last year we were shut down.
So we haven't been in business since then.
Basically covid has shut us down so we don't have any income.
We would like to get going again in january parker is hoping to have the pancake breakfasts again in january so they can use the proceeds to give to the eagles cancer telethon.
Live in ornocco, jeremy wall, kimt news 3.
